The AMX Safety Switch Stand Alone is a device that controls the position of hazardous machine doors/cases. It features a contactless coded sensor with electronic technology and relays, and has an IP68 PA6 / IP69K INOX316L rating. This device has a performance level and category without an external controller of Cat 3 PL=d according to ISO 13849-1, and with an AWAX controller, it can reach up to Cat 4 and PL=e. It also has an integrated safety level of SIL 2 according to IEC 61508.
