- Fiber optic sensors operate according to the energetic principle, where light is emitted via one fiber optic cable and received via another. By using versatile plastic or glass fiber optic cables with adapter no. 4, the amplifier can be adapted to a wide variety of application requirements. The display shows both the switching threshold and the currently received signal, allowing the sensor to be set intuitively and quickly via the buttons. More complex parameterizations can be conveniently performed via the wenglor weCon app on a mobile device or via IO-Link. Furthermore, all sensor information is available via the IO-Link process data. Both the fiber optic cables and the amplifier can be mounted without tools, which further facilitates handling.
