  • Fiber optic sensors operate on the energetic principle, where light is emitted via one fiber optic cable and received via another. By using versatile plastic or glass fiber optic cables with adapter no. 4, the amplifier can be adapted to a wide variety of application requirements. The display shows the switching threshold and the currently received signal, allowing the sensor to be set intuitively and quickly via the buttons. More complex parameterizations can be conveniently performed via the wenglor weCon app on a mobile device or via IO-Link. Sensors of the P1XD200 series can be operated both as stand-alone and in multi-unit operation with up to 14 sensors. Despite closely positioned queries, there is no mutual interference in multi-unit operation. Furthermore, all sensor information is available via the IO-Link process data. Both the fiber optic cables and the amplifier can be mounted without tools, which further facilitates handling.
